5 February 2009

Galleri Andersson/Sandström takes part in MARKET art fair the 13-15 February at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm, for the fourth consecutive year. In the stand Galleri Andersson/Sandström will show:

Gabi Trinkaus (Austria)
Astrid Sylwan (Sweden)
Tony Cragg (Germany/United Kingdom)
Eva Hild (Sweden)
Chiara Albertoni (Italy)
Ian McKeever (United Kingdom)
Anne-Karin Furunes (Norway)

Galleri Andersson/Sandström also presents two separate exhibits in ”MARKET at large” stands.

UHO / Unidentified Hanging Object by the Finnish sculptor Kari Cavén will hang in one of the staircases of the Royal Academy. The piece is a gigantic, glittering chandelier made of baking tins.

On one of the rear landings, action dolls by the Belgian artist Wim Delvoye will be for sale. With the slogan ”You can tell it’s not Mattel”, Delvoye produces dolls of himself with his most famous pieces of art – like the stuffed, tattooed pig Madonna – as accessories.
